Does FastPOS 2002 require a dedicated
server to operate?
- No. The volume
of transactions that a particular installation
produces should dictate the configuration of
your LAN. For example, a high transaction
environment such as a night-club or bar
environment should be configured with a
dedicated server. Conversely, a low
transaction environment such as a fine dining
environment would allow one of the POS
workstations to be configured as a workstation
& server.
